Seto Octagonal Tray

Designed and handcrafted by Susumu Seto in Hokkaido. Seto applies unpigmented lacquer derived from tree sap to the surface of his pieces, leaving them highly durable and resistant to water.

The Seto octagonal trays are hand-chiseled, with a texture reminiscent of a dahlia (including on the underside). Each tray is truly a beautiful work of art while still durable enough for regular use.
